Basic Skills Required of Position:

1. Basic mathematics – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
2. Basic reading and writing skills with ability to follow instructions.
3. Demonstrated ability to use tape measure, micrometers and calipers.
4. Demonstrated ability to complete and follow all safety requirements and OSHA requirements.
5. Demonstrated ability to perform position by end of proficiency period.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare skids to customer specifications.
2. Operate turn style, downlayer, banding line banders and crane as needed to package material.
3. Demonstrated ability to package material to meet customer specifications per shop order instructions.
4. Demonstrated ability to ensure proper identification and segregation.
5. Demonstrated ability to safely handle material without damage.
6. Cleaning and housekeeping of packing area or any other assigned area.
7. Demonstrated ability to maintain production standards.
8. Thoroughly train new employees in all aspects of operation, safety, quality and productivity.
9. Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions.
10. Complete all other assigned tasks or transfers assigned by supervisor.
